XL Group moves to a new, larger office in Sao Paulo

SAO PAULO, BRAZIL - September 26, 2014

SAO PAULO, BRAZIL – September 25, 2014 – XL Group today announced that it is moving its local Brazilian operations to a new, larger office on Avenida Brigadeiro Faria Lima in Sao Paulo. The move is driven by the growth of its insurance operation in the country and the desire to be in closer proximity to brokers and clients.

Renato Rodrigues, Country Manager of XL Group’s insurance operation in Brazil, commented: “In Brazil, our plan has been to grow our market presence step by step, in line with developing market needs. Starting with our operations with less than 15 colleagues in July 2012, our team has grown to more than 50 today. The growth of our portfolio reflects the dedicated and successful execution of our strategy.”
