XL Group adds Misc PI to product suite in Australia

XL Group today announced that it has added Miscellaneous Professional Indemnity to its suite of professional lines products offered in Australia.

Commenting, Rachel Thomson, Head of Professional Lines Australia, said: “We have expanded our Professional lines product suite to include Misc PI because we recognise the opportunity to provide flexible cover to meet the individual needs of those clients whose profiles fall outside the parameters of standard insurance schemes. 

“We are looking to provide coverage to a broad range of professions, from agronomists to zoologists. We will also be providing cover to more traditional professions such as law firms, accountants, property managers and business consultants.  In addition, we are able to consider professions for which brokers may have struggled to find the right insurance solution in the past.
