XL Catlin to celebrate 10th anniversary of Global Day of Giving

XL Group plc (“XL”) (NYSE: XL) announced today that itplans to hold its tenth Global Day of Giving on Thursday, September 10,2015.

Previously both XL and Catlin made Corporate SocialResponsibility (“CSR”) a priority. Together, CSR remains high on the combinedcompany’s agenda. The Global Day of Giving is a company-wide employeevolunteer day dedicated to supporting the communities in which XL Catlinoperates.

From the Global Day of Giving’s inception in 2006,employees have performed more than 175,000 hours of community service throughhundreds of charitable projects in various locations worldwide.

During this year’s GlobalDay of Giving close to 250 projects have been scheduled in more than 65locations around the world to address diverse issues includinghomelessness/hunger, unemployment, education and youth development,elderly/senior care and the environment.
