
Urs Blättler to join XL Catlin as Country Claims Manager Switzerland
Zurich, Switzerland - September 05, 2018
XL Catlin’s insurance operation today announced the appointment of Urs Blättler as Country Claims Manager for Switzerland, effective immediately. In his new role, Mr. Blättler will be responsible for leading XL Catlin’s local team in Switzerland, working closely with XL Catlin’s brokers and clients in order to deliver market leading claims service.

Mr. Blättler has more than 15 years’ experience in claims management. He joins XL Catlin from Partner Re where he most recently held the position of Head of Standard Claims overseeing the company’s European, African, Asian and Latin American claims. His previous positions included several claims management roles at Swiss Re, Chubb and Zurich Insurance. Mr. Blättler has a Law degree from the University of Berne in Switzerland.
