Steven Zimmerman Joins XL Catlin as Client Distribution Leader in Los Angeles

Steven Zimmerman has joined XL Catlin’s Broker & Client Management team as Client Distribution Leader in Los Angeles, reporting to XL Catlin’s US West Regional Broker and Client Management leader, Mike Soper.

According to Bob Peretti, XL Catlin’s Head of Broker & Client Management, Americas said: “We see abundant opportunities to help Southern California’s growing business community address their insurance needs more effectively and conveniently. In fact, this is why we established our first LA-based Broker & Client Management position and Steve is well qualified to establish this new position and build our rapport with area brokers. In his new role with XL Catlin, Steve will help area brokers and businesses tap into the appropriate expertise and products across our 30-plus business insurance lines.”

Mr. Zimmerman joins XL Catlin with more than 20 years of both business development and broker experience in the insurance industry where he most recently served as Senior Vice President of Gallagher Bassett Services. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.
