AXA XL promotes Joelle Gemayel to Head of Distribution for Switzerland

AXA XL Insurance today announced the promotion of Joelle Gemayel to Head of Distribution, Switzerland, effective immediately.

Mrs. Gemayel will be responsible for implementing AXA XL’s distribution strategy in the Swiss market and further developing our relationships with Swiss-based brokers and clients.

Joelle Gemayel joined AXA XL’s distribution team in Switzerland as Client and Distribution Leader in 2019. She joined from Zurich Insurance Company, where she most recently held the position of Global Relationship Leader, Commercial Insurance, Switzerland. A neurobiologist with a doctorate (Ph. D.) from ETH Zurich, she started her career in insurance after research assignments at the Brain Research Institute of ETH Zurich and later at Novartis.
