AXA XL promotes Eduardo Guinea to Head of Distribution, Iberia

AXA XL Insurance in Spain has promoted Eduardo Guinea to Head of Distribution, Iberia. In his new role, Mr. Guinea will be responsible for developing and implementing AXA XL’s distribution and client management strategy in Spain and Portugal. He will work closely with other functions within AXA XL and the wider AXA Group to bring innovative solutions to clients and brokers in the Iberia region.

Commenting on the promotion, José Ramón Morales, Country Leader, Iberia at AXA XL, said: “I am delighted to see Eduardo take on this new role. Mr. Guinea has more than 16 years of experience in the insurance industry and holds an Executive Master’s Degree in Marketing & Sales from ESADE. Since joining AXA XL in 2016 as Client Distribution Leader, Mr. Guinea played an instrumental role in designing AXA XL’s MGA distribution strategy and developing a number of new specialty insurance solutions, among which Accident & Health, Political Risk, Credit & Bond and Aviation. He became a member of AXA XL’s Iberia leadership team in 2019.
