AXA XL appoints Claudia Ingenhoven as Chief Financial Officer, Reinsurance

AXA XL Reinsurance has today announced it will appoint Claudia Ingenhoven as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Reinsurance effective 13 February 2023.

Prior to accepting this role Ms Ingenhoven held a number of executive positions including CEO of Glacier Reinsurance (Catalina), and CFO of iptiQ EMEA P&C (Swiss Re). She also spent time working within the AXA group as an Executive Committee and Board Member of AXA Liabilities Managers across a wide number of different jurisdictions including France, Germany, Malaysia, Switzerland, UAE, UK and the USA.

AXA XL Reinsurance CEO Nancy Bewlay commented, “With her Executive experience, knowledge of the AXA group, global expertise and financial background, Claudia will be an asset to our business. Claudia will work with me as part of the reinsurance leadership team to drive the growth of our business to achieve our goal of sustainable profitability.”

Ms Ingenhoven has extensive experience working within finance functions at a number of (re)insurers and holds a Certificate of Corporate Finance from the University of Zurich, Switzerland as well as a degree in Economics from the Gerhard-Mercator University in Germany.
